|The Book Of Mormon New York in Eugene Oneill Theatre|
|The Book Of Mormon Denver in Ellie Caulkins Opera House|
Staging, choreography, production etc highly impressed me. The considerable randomness seemed suitable. I absolutely loved it. The only problem was my eyes tearing up from laughing so hard! This musical is a religious satire.
The choreography was perfect. The songs were amusing, well-sung and well-played. There are extremely witty lyrics. The Book of Mormon was really vulgar and fairly offensive to Mormons and other faiths.
Musical was making fun of the Mormon religion but in a somewhat mean way which many, even non-Mormons would not be pleased about it.
Great writers, with wonderful comic lines, that comes from nowhere. Show is X rated for language and actions, so if you are a prude, this is not the show for you. This show will entertain everyone means of all age groups with a sense of humor.
I'd recommend this show to anyone and everyone who doesn't take life too seriously. Cast was very talented and did a great job with the acting and dancing. Unluckily, because of the heavy "African" accents, I could not get a lot of the lines.
Definitely a must watch show!!!!
